To return books after hours, we now have two book drops available should one become full. The new one has a small sign reading "Book Depository" and is positioned on the sidewalk near the old one.

Two sessions on Mondays - 10:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m.

Children should be 3 to 5 years old and able to attend the story hour on their own. Parents should be nearby in the library. No registration is required. Check the Children's Programs page for more information.

Adventure Club 3 snowflakes

Adventure Club allows children the opportunity to develop their imaginations through book-related activities. Activities are designed for children ages 6 to 10. Younger children are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult.

The Eastgate Library will show free family-friendly films on select Saturdays at 2:30 pm. All movies are rated G or PG, and are open to the public. Snacks and drinks in closed containers are permitted in the movie room.

On Saturday, February 6th, at 2:30 pm, we'll show a 2009 family film, starring Eddie Murphy as a financial executive who can't stop his career downspiral. He is invited into his daughter's imaginary world, where solutions to his problems await.. Rated PG, 107 minutes.

On Saturday, February 20th, at 2:30 pm, a young boy's discovery of a colorful, wish-granting rock causes chaos in the suburban town of Black Falls when jealous kids and scheming adults alike set out to get their hands on it. 2009, Rated PG, 89minutes.

cupid Valentine Craft Program

School-age children may now sign up to participate in a special program Saturday, February 13th, at 2:30pm. This free, 45-minute craft program will provide children with the needed materials to make a three dimensional Valentine's Day gift for someone special, and a bag to transport it home in secret. Registration is required, space is limited to 20 children. Sign up at the library or call 855-2689.
