Volunteers
Call Center Volunteer
Volunteers will assist a full time staff person to answer reference questions over the phone. Shifts are flexible and training is provided.
Must be well-organized and able to work effectively with patrons, staff and other volunteers. Will need a pleasant telephone voice and personality.

Bookstore Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to staff our bookstore. The volunteers will assist in the daily operation of the bookstore and provide sales assistance to the public.
Must be well-organized and able to work effectively with patrons, staff and other volunteers.
Three to four hour work shifts are available.

Full-Time
NETWORK TECHNICIAN
Downtown Branch
Duties include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, diagnosing
and working to resolve
malfunctions of printers, terminals, personal computers, modems, and
other network equipment. Delivers and sets up personal computers;
installs software on personal computers and configures for attached or
network printers and other auxiliary hardware.
Assists in the upgrading and replacement of library automation equipment
and network links as required. Performs various related duties
as required.
High school diploma or GED, supplemented by vocational/technical training in Computer Science. Five (5) to eleven (11) months previous experience and/or training involving computer network operation and maintenance. Must possess and maintain a valid Tennessee driver’s license and be able to become insured to drive a library vehicle. Full-time, including rotating Saturdays. Additional hours may be required. Beginning salary: $24,013. Excellent benefits.
