Who are the Friends?

As a dedicated group of volunteers, the Friends of the Library donate time and money to support literacy programs, contribute to special library events, and build special collections of materials. We raise money by selling donated used books, audio cassettes, CDs, and magazines at semi-annual booksales. Our organization also sponsors many library programs that otherwise would not be possible. Anyone can join the Friends and become a member. Your annual dues, donations of books & money, and memorial gifts are all tax deductible.

In recent years we have supplemented the library's collection by purchasing the following items:


We also sponsor many of the programs at the library throughout the year. With the Friends' continuing support the library is able to offer:


The Friends' organization is able to do such great work by raising money through the annual book sales and membership contributions. To become a member, obtain an application at any library location or use this mail-in form. Your membership will help the Friends accomplish even more.
